Pickup at the location
If the customer can order online and pick it up, with their minimum and wait time.
What it's for
The customer places the order from the website and picks it up. You only decide three things: whether you accept it, what the minimum order is, and how long it takes to have it ready.
The three adjustments
- Active: whether you accept pickups or not. If off, the option disappears from your menu and only delivery can be ordered.
- Minimum order: below this amount, they cannot order for pickup. Many restaurants set it to zero: those who come to pick it up cost you nothing.
- Preparation time: the minutes you tell the customer it will take to be ready. Be realistic, as this is what you will promise them.
Pickup is the most profitable way to sell: you don't pay for delivery or commission to anyone. If in doubt, always keep it on.
