Types of VAT

The VAT percentages you use and which one is applied by default to your dishes.

What it's for

Define the types of VAT you handle. Each dish has its own, and this is where the breakdown of invoices and the quarterly summary comes from.

Common types in Spain

• 10% — food and hospitality. This is the standard for meals.
• 21% — alcoholic beverages.
• 4% — basic products (bread, milk…).

Mark one as default: it will be automatically assigned to each new dish you create, so you don't have to choose it every time.
